White Knight Press Releases Complete Full-Color Guide Book for Sony RX10 Camera
Henrico, Virginia (PRWEB) April 08, 2014 -- In late 2013, Sony released the DSC-RX10 camera, a model that distinguished itself by offering a large, one-inch-type sensor matched with a high-quality Zeiss lens with a zoom range from 24mm to 200mm. The camera has been welcomed by enthusiasts seeking a high-quality camera they can use for general photography without having to carry an assortment of interchangeable lenses.
However, the RX10 does not come with a full printed manual by Sony—only an online guide that is difficult to use as a reference for the camera’s many features and options. When it comes to having a ready reference guide, many users want a traditional printed book they can consult as they work with the camera.
With the release of Photographer’s Guide to the Sony DSC-RX10, White Knight Press has made available an affordable, full-color, paperback guide book covering all aspects of the operation of the RX10 camera.
The new book, a 486-page trade-sized paperback, provides guidance to beginning and intermediate photographers about how to capture still images and videos with the RX10, as well as when and why to use the camera’s many options. The book explains topics such as autofocus, manual focus, aperture priority, shutter priority, exposure compensation, white balance, and ISO sensitivity. The book includes step-by-step guides to the use of the camera’s built-in Wi-Fi features, which let the camera transfer images and videos wirelessly to a computer or other device and which let the user control the camera remotely using a smartphone or tablet.
The book includes more than 400 full-color images that illustrate the RX10’s controls, display screens, and menus. The photographs include examples captured using the camera’s Scene shooting mode, with settings for subjects such as landscapes, sunsets, and action shots; Creative Style and Picture Effect menu options; and features for burst shooting and low-light image-making.
In addition, the book provides introductions to topics such as infrared photography, street photography, digiscoping, and macro photography.
The book includes a full discussion of the video-shooting features of the RX10, which can capture high-definition (HD) movies with stereo sound, and which permits full manual control of exposure and focus during movie recording.
In three appendices, the book discusses accessories for the RX10, including cases, flash units, and microphones, and includes a list of helpful web sites and other resources. The book also includes an appendix with “quick tips” for using the camera’s features in the most efficient ways. The book has a detailed Table of Contents and Index, both of which can be downloaded for examination at whiteknightpress.com.
The paperback version of the RX10 guide book is available now for a list price of $25.95 through Amazon.com; it also is available in a Kindle edition through that site. The book also is available for $9.95 in downloadable PDF and ebook formats through whiteknightpress.com. It also is available from numerous other online booksellers.
