National Comedy Tour Direct from Chicago Comes to Frisco, Texas
Frisco, Texas (PRWEB) April 08, 2014 -- On May 17, 2014, the Frisco Conference Society of St. Vincent de Paul (http://www.svdpfrisco.org) will be presenting the national tour of two great comedies direct from Chicago, Illinois. The comedies, created and performed by the nationally acclaimed Nuns 4 Fun Entertainment, will be “Movie Bingo” and “Put the Nuns in Charge”. Both fun-filled shows will take place at the St. Francis of Assisi Parish Hall located in Frisco, Texas.
Movie Bingo
Vicki Quade, creator of the hit comedy Late Night Catechism, brings to life a new comedy about fundraising and bingo. There is something for everyone here as movies are looked at through the fun lens of the Catholic faith. Which Pope wanted to be an actor? Which movie star became a nun? Lots of Hollywood triva. Everyone in attendance gets to play bingo and potentially win prizes. Movie Bingo will begin at 3:00pm on May 17, 2014. Ticket prices are $25 pre-sell and $30 the week of the show (May 10th – 17th). Price includes food and one raffle ticket. Alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages will also be available for purchase.
Put the Nuns in Charge
The hilarious show that makes you laugh so hard, it ought to be a sin. Mrs. Mary Margaret O’Brien gives her own take on the Golden Rule and has something to say on everything from skirt length to cell phones. The Seven Deadly Sins get their turn in the spotlight as Mrs. O’Brien shows how they apply to modern-day behavior. Audience members will experience the delicious shock of recognition to the classroom of their youth. Put the Nuns in Charge will begin at 7:00pm on May 17, 2014. Ticket prices are $25 pre-sell and $30 the week of the show (May 10th – 17th). Price includes food and one raffle ticket. Alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages will also be available for purchase.
Tickets Are Now Available for Purchase.
Tickets for both shows can be purchased at http://www.svdpfrisco.org or in the Frisco St. Francis of Assisi Parish Hall the weekends of March 22 & 23 and May 10 & 11. Seats are limited and sell outs are expected, so the public is encouraged not to wait on purchasing their tickets.
