Hondros College of Business to Host 'Presentations that Dazzle' Instructor Development Workshop
Columbus, OH (PRWEB) April 08, 2014 -- Hondros College of Business will be hosting a training seminar for real estate instructors seeking to improve their presentation skills. In partnership with the Real Estate Educators Association (REEA), this workshop will focus on educating real estate instructors on how to design and implement an effective presentation. Karel Murray, CSP, DREI and Dr. Beverly McCormick, DREI will be featured presenters. Murray and McCormick, both Distinguished Real Estate Instructors, a National Designation through REEA, will look to provide training that gives instructors a clear template for how to promote active involvement from students and provide them the most relevant and necessary information in the real estate field today.
With extensive backgrounds in the real estate industry, both Murray and McCormick will bring an expertise and knowledge that looks to enrich teaching methods for attending instructors. Murray, a motivational humorist, business strategy consultant and author with both national and international speaking engagements, is an established member of the real estate community and currently holds the position of national President of the Real Estate Educators Association. McCormick brings a background that includes her current position as a Professor of Real Estate at Morehead State University, along with 24 years of experience as President-Elect of the Real Estate Educators Association. She is also Secretary of the Kentucky Real Estate Educators Association and has designed and conducted real estate education workshops nationwide. Both presenters aim to provide attendees with lasting, memorable knowledge that can be applied in real-world situations.
This all-day workshop, to be held April 28th, is open to all real estate instructors or anyone who wishes to improve their presentation skills. As an incentive for Hondros’ in-house adjunct faculty, Hondros will cover the cost of their adjunct facility wishing to attend.
“Providing a first-rate educational experience is something we value greatly.” says Tina Lapp, President of Hondros College of Business. “By hosting this event and offering to cover expenses for any of our own adjunct facility wishing to attend, we’re emphasizing the importance of not only giving students the tools to succeed in the real estate industry, but doing so in a fashion that is fun, engaging, and relevant.”
By offering this workshop, Hondros and REEA are recognizing the need to provide dynamic, effective training to students in the classroom setting. Interested adjunct facility can find more information or register by visiting https://www.reea.org/events/viewEvent.cfm?e=27#register.
