Cellular Sales Allows Early Upgrades With Early EDGE
Knoxville, TN (PRWEB) April 08, 2014 -- Cellular Sales, the nation’s largest premium Verizon Wireless retailer, with approximately 560 U.S. locations, is helping customers upgrade their wireless equipment ahead of time with the new Early EDGE program.
Early EDGE, which is a limited-time offer, gives Verizon Wireless customers the opportunity to switch from a two-year contract to Verizon’s new EDGE program and receive an upgrade on their device when doing so as long as that customer’s last upgrade occurred before Nov. 13, 2013. Normally, consumers would have to wait until the expiration of their two-year contract to switch to EDGE. However, Early EDGE allows them to convert that contract immediately.
“If you’ve got your eye on a new smartphone now or are looking for a new program that can allow you to upgrade as often as every six months, then Early EDGE gives you an excellent chance to do both,” James “JT” Thome, chief operating officer for Cellular Sales, said.
Verizon Wireless’s recent announcement of its More Everything Plan, which offers twice as much shareable data as the old Share Everything Plan, means customers who take advantage of Early EDGE can receive a great deal on their new smartphone and wireless plan.
“Between Early EDGE and More Everything, Verizon is providing more value to the consumer than ever before,” Thome said. “People who use both of these together are getting one of the best deals, with the most flexibility, the wireless industry has to offer.”
Verizon EDGE allows consumers the freedom to upgrade their smartphones more often. Those enrolled in EDGE pay for their phones on an installment plan and may upgrade their phones after paying 50 percent of the phone’s cost, as often as every six months. In addition, customers who move over to the Edge program may qualify for monthly discounts on their Verizon service, offsetting much, if not all, of the phone’s expense.
“If keeping up with the latest smartphone is important to you, then EDGE is a great option to ensure you always have the latest technology in your pocket,” Thome said.
