Lucernex Technologies has published a new case study outlining the results of its engagement with Regal Entertainment Group, operators of the largest and most geographically diverse theatre circuit in the United States. Regal’s portfolio consists of 7,394 screens in 580 theatres in 42 states along with Guam, Saipan, American Samoa and the District of Columbia (as of December 26, 2013) with approximately 229 million attendees in 2013.

Titled "A Quick and Accurate Transition from a Legacy Lease System to Lx Contracts", the case study focuses on how Regal was able to go-live on Lx Contracts and pay rent in under 3 months including a full data conversion of all legacy lease data, six (6) enterprise integrations and complete system configuration. Lx Contracts replaced their legacy system SLIM.

The case study highlights the implementation hurdles that had to be overcome in order to meet a tight deadline that was driven by multiple integrations into their ERP System, Microsoft Dynamics AX, which was being implemented at the same time.

Lx Contracts is the Lease Administration and Rent Accounting module of Lx Retail, the market-leading store lifecycle management and retail IWMS solution delivered in the cloud. Lx Contracts can support any size portfolio of stores including currency, date and location support worldwide.

Implementation of the Lx Contracts solution began in November of 2012 and the full SLIM data conversion, six (6) system integrations and a complete system configuration was completed in under 3 months.
