Paradise Bike Ride Kauai Announces Registration
Lihue, Kauai, Hawaii (PRWEB) April 17, 2014 -- Registration and sponsorship opportunities are now open for the premier bike ride on Kauai. Held yearly each August, the Paradise Ride Kauai is the major fundraiser of Malama Pono Health Services.

Cyclists of all abilities worldwide are invited to participate in the two day, 120 mile event that routes along coastal Kauai beaches and the island's lush interior. There is also a one day Century Ride and shorter routes are available to accommodate all levels of cyclists.
“Paradise Ride Kauai is truly a dream destination bike ride that just happens to support an amazing cause," commented Mistee Bailey- Myrick, Executive Director of Malama Pono Health Services. "We are the only agency of its kind on Kauai and this fundraiser is what keeps our doors open and our clients taken care of.”
Participants can register online and create a personal profile to share on Facebook and in other social media. Each rider raises a minimum of $300 each and awards are given to the top fundraisers. Registration is $69 and ride jerseys are available for an additional $75.
This signature fundraising event for Malama Pono Health Services helps the island's only HIV/AIDS service organization continue their community outreach and education that also targets the reduction of Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD).
Volunteer and Sponsorship Opportunities Available.
Paradise Ride welcomes sponsors for its Kauai event which features four levels available starting at $500 for Friends of the Ride. Other opportunities include Hydration Station Sponsor, Title Sponsor and Presenting Sponsor. Volunteers are needed for everything from meal prep to cheering riders along the route. The Paradise Ride Kauai is a production of Malama Pono Health Services and its dedicated project volunteers. Malama Pono serves the island of Kauai and is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization. Representing the frontline in Kauai’s fight against AIDS, Malama Pono Health Services provides a full range of services to their island community, including HIV/AIDS prevention and educational programs, as well as case management and support for their HIV positive clients and families.
