According to the publication, “…at the top of the New Jersey nursing homes list are those with a rating of five stars from the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services for their overall performance in health inspections, nurse staffing and quality of medical care.” Both TCUs received five stars in critical areas of care, including Overall Rating, Nurse Staffing, Quality Measures and Health Inspections. The TCU at Bayonne Medical Center and Hoboken University Medical Center offer private and semi-private rooms operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week and provide physical therapy, skilled nursing, occupational therapy, respiratory therapy and speech therapy along with all the other services of the hospital.
