Florida Virtual School® Students Outperform State and National Averages on 2013 Advanced Placement® Exam Results
Orlando, FL (PRWEB) April 08, 2014 -- Students of Florida Virtual School (FLVS®), the statewide public school district in Florida, continued to score well on the Advanced Placement (AP®) Exams. The recently released 2013 AP Exam results revealed that FLVS students outperformed the state of Florida in overall averages by 13 percent and exceeded the national overall averages by 3 percent in comparing the 16 AP courses offered by FLVS.

2013 AP Exam results to note:
• FLVS students were above the state qualifying AP averages in 13 of 16 courses.
• FLVS students were above the national qualifying AP averages in 10 of the 16 courses.
• The percent of FLVS students with a qualifying score increased by 3 percent over 2012.
