MindEdge, an innovative, educational content provider of online courses to colleges and universities, is pleased to announce the addition of its adaptive learning plug-ins for college courses.

MindEdge defines adaptive learning as learning that anticipates and meets the student's needs so that she or he learns more thoroughly. MindEdge’s adaptive learning plug-ins offer students diagnostic assessments that guide students through additional layers of content instruction which includes games, interactive exercises, video, and additional testing. The learning plug-ins cover each subject’s 20-30 most common pain points where students often struggle.

Adaptive learning plug-ins are available for College Writing, Composition I and II, Critical Thinking, Introduction to Financial Accounting, Statistics, and other introductory courses. The plug-ins are easily integrated into Blackboard, Moodle, Sakai, Canvas, and other learning management systems, or they can be accessed directly from the MindEdge LMS.

MindEdge will also work with a school to analyze specific needs, and will build custom adaptive learning plug-ins that will employ the company’s software engine.

Regarding this latest product offering, CEO Jefferson Flanders said, “This new program addresses the need expressed by many educators for flexible and adaptive content that can be incorporated in their existing online or blending courses. We anticipate the same sort of enthusiastic response we've seen from instructors and students using MindEdge adaptive learning embedded in our full-length courses.”
