Integrated Health Yoga Therapy Expands to BC, New Yoga Therapy Training in Beautiful Vancouver
Vancouver BC (PRWEB) April 09, 2014 -- Literally entering new territory in 2014, Integrated Health Yoga Therapy (http://www.ihyt.org/) will host a 300 Hour Program/500 Hour Yoga Alliance Certification for RYT-200’s Yoga Therapy training in Vancouver, British Columbia in August - their first certification outside of Ontario - in an effort to keep up with demand.
The stunning locale for this Yoga Therapy training is The Vancouver School of Bodywork and Massage/Yoga in the unique brick and timber loft space of its award-winning heritage building in the heart of historic Gastown. The program will take place August 4-31 2014 as a summer intensive with Semester 1 and 2 back-to-back. Alternately participants may attend the individual workshops instead of the full program (http://www.ihyt.org/#!calendar/c1ke7). For information on accommodations, scheduling, meals, and more check out http://www.ihyt.org/#!lev1-yoga-therapist-vancouver/c17yb.
Vancouver won’t be IHYT’s only new location in 2014 (warmer climes on the way too, keep an eye out for upcoming announcements!), but in a way it’s a perfect place to begin their expansion. Not only is the city beautiful and cosmopolitan, it also reflects the healthy general lifestyle fundamental to the IHYT philosophy.
When Vancouver’s hordes of outdoors people aren’t walking, running, rollerblading, and cycling, it seems it’s only because they’re kayaking, hiking, skiing, snowboarding, or mountain biking instead. Not to mention Eastern medicine, bodywork, and massage, feng shui, tai chi, vegetarianism, macrobiotics, meditation, and of course yoga, just to name a few of Vancouver’s healthy passions. What a perfect place to transplant Integrated Health Yoga Therapy!
IHYT’s Yoga Therapy Training Level 1 in Vancouver will be limited to an intimate class size of 26 and include their usual complement of experienced instructors who are leaders in their fields: Tianne Allen, Jnani Chapman, Neil Pearson, Antonio Sausys, Nitin Shah, Kaoverii Weber, Amy Weintraub, and founder Karen Claffey (http://www.ihyt.org/#!faculty/cjg9).
Keep an eye on the schedule at http://www.ihyt.org/#!calendar/c1ke7 for more exciting new events and locations for Integrated Health Yoga Therapy in 2014 and 2015!
