Catholic Education Arizona Shows It Support Today for Arizona Gives Day
Phoenix, AZ (PRWEB) April 09, 2014 -- Catholic Education Arizona, the charitable non-profit organization, reminds all Arizonans to consider giving on April 9, 2014 to their favorite charity or non-profit organization.
"Arizona Gives Day is a great way for Arizona to show its support for the organizations that do so much for the state and the less fortunate,” said, Paul Mulligan, President and CEO of Catholic Education Arizona. He goes on, “There are countless organization here that make such a dramatic impact on so many lives. We need days like today to remind us all of the great work these organizations do. They need everyone’s support.”
For Catholic Education Arizona today is bittersweet. State law requires that tax credit contributions by the taxpayer be made directly to a school tuition organization and cannot be made through a third party like Arizona Gives or the United Way.
“We love what Arizona Gives Day is about but unfortunately for tax credit purposes our contributors cannot support us through this type of organization,” said Mulligan. “We ask that Arizonans consider supporting us directly,” he said.
Not too late to make a tax credit contribution
Arizona taxpayers who have not filed their 2013 Arizona tax return can still make their tax credit contribution for 2013 up until April 15, 2014. Contributions to Catholic Education Arizona can be made by mail, by phone at 602-218-6542 or 1-888-TAX-CRDT (1-888-829-2738), or their website, http://www.catholiceducationarizona.org.
