Affiliate program management agency Schaaf-PartnerCentric announced today that the company has reached an important milestone – completion of the 100th technical integration of an affiliate program within an affiliate network since dedicating a full-time expert to the task.
Last summer Schaaf-PartnerCentric’s Senior Technical Solutions Specialist, Tom Rathbone, was assigned to provide all clients with a technical resource for not only selecting the network platforms that will work best given the client’s specific needs but also for ensuring that the network integration process goes smoothly.
“Tom’s expertise in working with all of the networks – and his understanding the complexities of integration with each – has enabled us to save our clients valuable time and resources while ensuring they’re also working with the networks that will bring the strongest results,” said Schaaf-PartnerCentric CEO and Co-Founder Brook Schaaf.
Once integrated, managers of the affiliate program can track its progress and compensate affiliates for the results (sales or leads) they bring to the program. The timing of Rathbone’s assignment meant that the agency was able to assist merchants who needed to find new network options when Google Affiliate Network shut down last summer.
Rathbone is involved with each phase of an affiliate program's integration, from overseeing pixel firing logic to helping advertisers choose the affiliate network or networks that best meet the needs of their businesses.
"Each client has their own specific needs, and simply adding standard network tracking often does not fit those needs," Rathbone said. "We work closely with each client to review marketing strategies and determine the optimal technical setup for them. This may involve multiple technology providers, each of which has its own specific strengths."
Rathbone is also experienced at utilizing broader scale solutions such as tag managers, container pixels and multi-channel attribution modeling involving all marketing channels. Because Schaaf-PartnerCentric manages affiliate programs on a wide range of affiliate networks, Rathbone is extremely knowledgeable about all affiliate networks.
"We can work in our standard network-neutral approach to build out a technical strategy for each client," Rathbone said. "Facilitating this integration for clients allows them to integrate quickly and painlessly. With our level of expertise, launching a sophisticated, custom affiliate program has been known to take less than a week."
Schaaf-PartnerCentric is able to expedite launches and focus on multi-network and multi-channel de-duplication. Rathbone also works with emerging market affiliates, offering advanced technologies and finding ways for the entire Schaaf-PartnerCentric client base to benefit from these affiliates.
"Tom's ability to take each client's specific needs and devise a strategy and plan that makes use of best, most innovative platforms and technical solutions is of tremendous value," said Schaaf. "His expertise makes it possible for us to get our clients' programs live in a very effective and timely manner."
Rathbone has been a member of the Schaaf-PartnerCentric team since 2008. He is also a member of the Performance Marketing Association's Industry Advancement Council, which exists to raise the level of knowledge, awareness and opportunities available through performance based advertising/marketing model.
