Next IT Hires Rick Collins as EVP of Enterprise Business
Spokane, WA (PRWEB) April 09, 2014 -- Next IT, developer of Alme, the world's most trusted virtual assistant platform, has announced the addition of Rick Collins to its executive team. Rick will join the Spokane-based software company as EVP of Enterprise Business, where he will be responsible for sales, solutions, and account relationships with key enterprise customers and partners.
“Next IT is already a leader in what will be one of the most exciting growth areas in enterprise software over the next ten years,” said Mr. Collins. “I couldn’t be more proud to join this team and work to build on top of the company’s stellar performance in recent years.”
Rick joins Next IT from Microsoft, where he was Sr. Director of Business Development for the Consumer Channel Group. Over a ten year career at Microsoft, he led global business development and partnering efforts with internet service providers and network operators for some of the company’s most important products, including Windows 8 and Windows Live.
As EVP of Enterprise Business, Rick will help grow and manage Next IT’s roster of enterprise clients, including global leaders in the financial services, travel, telecom, and auto industries. Just last year alone, Next IT added eight new client relationships and increased revenue by 50%.
“We’ve set the ambitious goal to grow by 40-50% every year for the next five years, and the addition of Rick to our executive team is a crucial part of that plan,” said Next IT founder and CEO Fred Brown. “We couldn’t be happier to have him on our team.”
Rick’s broad career experience includes management roles in e-Learning software and services, corporate communications, and publishing and broadcast communications. He is a graduate of Gonzaga University, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business and Communications.
