OJOcam, makers of the world’s smallest dash cam, is proud to announce the beta release of the OJOCam Player software for Mac OSX! After the initial release of the PC version of the player, OJOCam customer support received an outpouring of comments requesting a version of the software compatible with Apple computers.
OJOCam heard these requests loud and clear, and immediately began developing the OSX version of the OJOCam Player. The company’s Managing Director, Lawrence Cao, says, “Since we are a community-driven product development company, customer voice plays a big role in our decision making process. Every user helps OJOCam move forward. The OJOCam Mac player is a perfect example.”
The Mac version operates almost identically to the PC version, displaying video recorded with OJOCam dash cameras side by side with location data in Google Maps. Features include frame-by-frame playback, variable speed playback in both forward and reverse, and digital zoom. The final version of the software will also include file merging and snapshot features. OJOCam Player for Mac runs on OSX 10.7, 10.8, and 10.9.
The speed with which this software went into development is a point of pride for the OJOCam team. The beta release of the Mac version comes only 2 weeks after the release of the PC software, and shows OJOCam’s dedication to customer feedback.
When the PC Player was released, customers responded by asking for a Mac version, and OJOCam’s development team immediately jumped to the task! The beta version is now available, with the full version soon to follow.
