SEN Names Sandy Winslow Businessperson of the Year
Chapel Hill, NC (PRWEB) April 10, 2014 -- The SEN Design Group announced last week that Sandy Winslow, President of Splash Kitchens & Baths in LaGrange GA, was selected as the seventeenth recipient of the M. A. Peterson Businessperson of The Year Award. The award was presented during the organization’s National Spring Conference before a gathering of 220+ members and vendors.
Winslow was recognized for his earnest interest in his staff, in the industry, and in doing things right the first time. With an openness and willingness to learn, Winslow has embraced the concept of interdependence, knowing that no one individual or company has all the answers but 200+ heads working towards a common goal are likely to achieve it faster and better. He adheres to uncommon business ethics and will not tolerate poor client service.

The award is named in honor of Peterson’s father who made some notable contributions to the kitchen and bath industry during his 30-year career. M. A. Peterson helped establish the industry’s leading trade organization, the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA), in 1963, served on its Board of Directors for many years, was honored as the world’s first Certified Kitchen Designer, and inducted into the Industry Hall of Fame in 1988 - its inaugural year. The SEN Design Group presents this award annually in memory of M. A. Peterson who died in March of 1997.
