Readiness for Common Core Earns 2014 Software & Information Industry Association CODiE Awards Finalist Honors
New York (PRWEB) April 10, 2014 -- Readiness for Common Core from Triumph Learning is a finalist in the 2014 Software & Information Industry (SIIA) CODiE Awards in the Best Classroom Management Solution category. The premier awards for the software and information industries, the CODiE Awards honor the best education technology, business software and digital content. Finalists in the education category are selected following a rigorous evaluation process conducted by educator judges.
Readiness for Common Core is a comprehensive online library of learning resources built for the Common Core. Flexible instructional tools are combined with ready-made assessment and reporting features that allow teachers to identify learning needs and rapidly respond with lessons that help students succeed.
“As teachers around the country implement new, more rigorous learning standards in their classes, we are committed to developing innovative tools to support their success,” said Rick Noble, President and CEO of Triumph Learning. “We are honored that the educator judges evaluating programs for the CODiE Awards recognized Readiness for Common Core as a leading tool for helping teachers ensure student success.”
Readiness for Common Core offers aligned lessons, assessments, teaching resources, and real-time reporting features, making it a powerful tool for differentiating instruction for grades 3-8. Recent updates add to the hundreds of highly effective lessons, practice sessions, and assessments already part of the recently launched library, including new content from Triumph Learning's Coach suite of products – Common Core Coach, Common Core Support Coach, and Common Core Performance Coach. With access to this best-selling series for grades 3-8, instructors have multiple selections to support individual learning needs—all indexed by standard, academic topic, and keyword.
With its data and reporting tools, Readiness for Common Core allows teachers to identify learning needs easily and, using the Bookshelf feature, quickly access and assign any lesson from the print texts. Dozens of ready-made tests are included, and the build-a-test feature allows teachers to create original assessments. The Readiness item bank features thousands of questions—a minimum of 10 per standard, and real-time data allows educators to analyze items and sort results in meaningful ways—by lesson, assessment, class or student—providing educators the capability to track growth and proficiency.
The 2014 CODiE Award winners will be announced at the 2014 Ed Tech Industry Summit in San Francisco on May 13.
