ProMAX Platform Shared Storage Solution Wins StudioDaily Prime Award
Santa Ana, CA (PRWEB) April 17, 2014 -- ProMAX Systems, the developer and manufacturer of the Platform shared storage systems, has been named a winner in the category of Post Production in the 2014 StudioDaily Prime Awards. Announced in a ceremony on site at the NAB Show in Las Vegas, the Prime Awards are the media outlet’s annual competition among the top tier of new technology, cutting-edge thinking, and high-end craftsmanship. The awards honor game-changing new products, A-level customer service, and creative innovation; the very best in production and post-production technology and talent. This year marks the third annual StudioDaily Prime Awards. The awards were created to spotlight engineering excellence, usability, and value in technology products shipped during the preceding calendar year.
Judges, drawn from StudioDaily contributors, evaluated entries based on the criteria of Power, Innovation, Value, and Ease of Use. The Platform Series earned recognition for taking the complication out of shared storage deployments while also enabling new connected workflows. It was also noted that Platform opens the door for media content creators on any budget to leverage a core tenet of storage, compute power and workflow functionality in a single system. Another comment called attention to how ProMAX is looking to tomorrow’s workflows.
“It’s validating to earn this acknowledgment from experts in the industry. It’s great to know that the connected workflow features and systems we are developing are truly efficient tools for the creative tasks our customers deal with every day,” said Jess Hartmann, ProMAX CEO.
The New Platform Series has changed what video and media professionals expect from shared storage systems by introducing Platform’s unique multi-functional modules. In addition to powering demanding workflow functions such as transcoding, asset management and archive, Platform has gained further industry attention by delivering superior video performance and intuitive data management capabilities. The New Platform series models significantly increased the servers’ scalability, adding multi-location features and functions extending from 8 terabytes to 25 petabytes; firmly positioning platform servers as an Enterprise class solution.
