Pax8, a cloud commerce marketplace, has launched two new online assets that will enable its IT channel partners to easily promote and sell industry-leading cloud products through their websites. The launch of the online sales and marketing tools is part of the ongoing Pax8 effort to help its partners' practices to become cloud enabled in order to better serve the needs of their customers.
The initial web-based asset enables Pax8 channel partners to help their customers learn more about each product in the Pax8 cloud solutions portfolio by adding a link to their websites that directs visitors to a public-facing Pax8 virtual trade show booth. Once logged into the virtual booth at http://www.pax8.com/cloudsolutions, a visitor can find information on cloud products from top vendors like Symantec, SilverSky, Infrascale, and InterCall, and access an extensive library of product data sheets. In addition, visitors will be able to view live and on-demand webinars on the site within a dedicated virtual conference hall.
"We wanted to help our partners to quickly incorporate Pax8 cloud offerings on their websites in order for them to market to their customers," said Steve McCutcheon, Pax8 Chief Marketing Officer. "While we already provide our partners with a wealth of materials like web copy, images, and logos that they can use on their websites, we wanted to take the next step and provide an informative site that partners could begin using on day one of their relationship with Pax8."
The booth is the public-facing component of the new Pax8 Virtual Partner Resource Center (VPRC), a private partner portal that enables Pax8 channel partners to access sales, marketing, and cloud enablement materials from each Pax8 cloud vendor.
The VPRC, which is built on the InterCall Virtual Event Center platform and available on a 24/7/365 basis, is designed as a virtual trade show, with virtual booths dedicated to each Pax8 vendor. The public-facing Pax8 booth and each VPRC vendor booth are "manned" during standard business hours, allowing visitors to chat in real time with representatives from Pax8 or its vendors.
In addition to the VPRC, Pax8 is also providing a way for channel sales partners to quickly integrate online store capabilities into their websites for sales of Pax8 cloud solutions and other products and services in the partner's portfolio. Each Pax8 channel partner can configure its own unique product catalog in the Pax8 Command Console, and expose a public-facing version of the catalog to its customers by adding a small amount of code to its website. Visitors to a Pax8 partner's website will be able to initiate orders, and in many cases, self-provision their services in a matter of minutes.
