Renee Fraser, Fraser Communications Takes Top Honors, Again, in Internet Advertising Competition
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) April 14, 2014 -- Renee Fraser and Fraser Communications, a top independent advertising agency based in Los Angeles, have earned top honors for achievement in internet advertising for its geo-targeted digital media ad campaign promoting the benefits of ridesharing to a car-loving and diverse Southern California population.
The 2104 Web Marketing Association award recognized Fraser Communications for creating the “best travel rich media online advertisement” on behalf of its client, the South Coast Air Quality Management District (AQMD), which covers Orange County and parts of Los Angeles, Riverside and San Bernardino counties.
“Fraser Communications continues to excel in its innovation in digital advertising,” said owner Renee Fraser. “This distinction exemplifies our in-house capabilities that combine unique research skills and insights with inspired creative energies, topped by flawless execution from our team of digital strategists.”
This marks Fraser Communications’ third year in a row to win “Best Of” Internet Advertising Competition awards from the WMA.
Renee said the Fraser Communications team approached the AQMD challenge in similar fashion to its many other clients –by finding the spark that connects a “brand” to a culture. In this case, AQMD’s goal was to reduce the number of cars on the road. “Rideshare Thursday,” which for years has encouraged Southland’s famous “solo commuters” to use van pools and other alternative modes of transportation at least one day a week, was in need of a fresh approach.
“We determined our best chance at success was to tap into the emotion of a specific group – ‘the Cost Conscious Commuter’,” Renee said. “Through our research we learned that the key driver for this group is saving money. Drivers tired of long, expensive commutes were ready to receive a captivating message that easily helped them find a cost-reducing solution.”
Fraser developed a media ad campaign that drove clicks to a custom Rideshare landing page that served as a hub for the Rideshare Thursday campaign. Solo commuters were then able to connect to their local 511 website to find out more information about the benefits and importance of ridesharing.
The team behind the AQMD campaign included: Sergio Belletini, creative director; Van Secrist, digital art director; Lisa Ansis, associate creative director-writer; Ilene Prince, vice president and account manager; Paul Davis, integrated senior designer; Pieck Panikabutr, digital artist; and Laura Bearer, production manager.
