Educational Impact & The Connecting Link Partnership: Transforming Teaching to Impact Learning
Ventura, California (PRWEB) April 10, 2014 -- The Connecting Link (TCL) announced today that they have entered a partnership arrangement with a nationally recognized online content provider, Educational Impact (EI). Both entities share similar values and goals including a commitment to Transform Teaching and Impact Learning.
The partnership will enhance learning and professional development opportunities available to certified educators, administrators, and support personnel. Forty-five (45) Fast Track courses have been added to the TCL spectrum of services. The new TCL instructor -led courses are infused with powerful multi-media from EI's massive video library. These videos include numerous nationally recognized educational experts and the best practices of real teachers in action in the classroom. Highlights include Math and ELA Common Core as well as Danielson Framework training.
Fast Track courses range from 4-15 hours and participants may log-in at their own convenience within an 8-week time period. Although the format is self-paced, instructors provide supportive assistance and formative feedback throughout the course and collaboration among participants is also encouraged. As a bonus, all participants enrolled in a Fast Track course will also be granted privileges to view the FULL EI Online Academy during their course enrollment period. The EI Online Academy provides access to over 400 hours of powerful streaming video.
When asked about the partnership opportunity for TCL, President Scott Ables noted, "We are delighted about this partnership with EI. In our efforts to offer more choices for educators and school administrators, we believe that the new offerings through this arrangement will enhance the experience of our customers who, in turn, play a critical role in the education of future generations. Choice and affordability during a time when teachers have been impacted by a tough economy, budget cuts, and the new norm is essential and we believe that these new courses will be welcomed by those we serve."
George Elias, CEO of Educational Impact added, "We are excited about the opportunity to partner with TCL and their world class instructors. Working with TCL to create online courses that combine the best instructor-led activities with targeted video has resulted in an array of exciting and unique course offerings."
