Coffee Expo Seoul 2014 at the Coex Center, Korea, officially opened its doors this morning for the start of a four-day, jam-packed event. Small and medium coffee businesses, as well as F&B industry giants such as Lavazza, Tavalon, and Delice, will showcase their wares to an audience of up to 50,000 buyers and members of the public until Sunday April 13th.
The highlight of this years’ event is the participation of official guest country and the proclaimed origin of coffee, Ethiopia. Visitors to Coffee Expo Seoul will be able to find out more about the country's various kinds of coffee, as well as discuss import options with Ethiopian businesses. In addition, a hands-on traditional Ethiopian coffee ceremony is allowing willing volunteers to experience a cup of Ethiopian coffee culture for themselves.
Other exciting concurrent events to have already attracted crowds of attendees include the 2014 SAMI Q CREAM World Barista Championship Final, also taking place on-site. Meanwhile, the Marketing Stage Program offering demonstrations from exhibitors, plus New Product workshops and seminars, provide even more choice for interested attendees.
Coffee Expo Seoul 2014 boasts a total of nearly 500 booths from 150 companies around the world, showcasing everything from high-tech coffee machines, to exotic and aromatic coffee beans, contemporary coffee crockery, and everything else in between.
Korea’s leading events venue and organizer, Coex, provides a picture-perfect, accessible and central location where participants both domestic and global can congregate with ease.
