Industry leading vendors to share best practice on IT security objectives, managing data securely and the anatomy of a hack

The MTI Forum is a great opportunity for industry professionals to share their experiences of securing data and learn the methods and tactics cybercriminals may use to breach their networks.

Global solutions and services provider MTI has published the full agenda for the MTI Forum which takes place on Wednesday, 16th April in Windsor, UK.

MTI and leading industry vendors, including EMC, RSA, Cisco and MobileIron, will share best practices and approaches to managing data securely and solutions for the daily security challenges IT meet. The event will also address security objectives that help support business transformation.

Ian Reynolds, IT Security Consultant at MTI, will be giving a session on the Anatomy of a Hack and the common pitfalls that hackers exploit to breach organisations networks. The session looks specifically at how attackers can bypass perimeter defences to access internal hosts and data over the Internet.

The PSN Workshop will educate public sector execs on HMG’s new Security Classifications: Official, Secret and Top Secret, which came into force on 2nd April 2014. The workshop will give insight on the new classifications, provide guidance on how they will impact public sector organisations and offer top tips to ease implementation.

The MTI Forum provides a platform for industry professionals to hear the latest trends and developments from some of the biggest names in IT, and share real-world experiences with their peers.

Alongside experts from MTI, including Ian Parslow, SVP Sales Europe, and Simon Walters, Director of Managed Services, will be representatives from its industry leading vendor partners, specialists and consultants. Participants include: Aerohive Networks, Cisco, CyberArk, EMC, ExtraHop Networks Inc., Imperva, Palo Alto Networks, RSA, Trend Micro, TrustedIA, MobileIron, Varonis, WatchGuard Technologies and Websense.
