Uberflip and HootSuite, two Canadian social media giants, have partnered up in order to make social media a more comprehensive outlet that will allow Hub owners to promote their content through social media more quickly and easily. HootSuite allows users to manage multiple social networks from one secure, web-based dashboard and Uberflip allows users to centralize their content into one seamless experience.
Uberflip users can now pull multiple Hubs into HootSuite to share content directly from their dashboard. Instead of grabbing a blog post URL from your Hub, switching windows and popping it into HootSuite, your Hub (or multiple Hubs) can essentially live inside of HootSuite so you can publish to Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Google+ your Hub’s content, all from one place.

Installing the app is easy and once it’s done, the user needs to create a tab dedicated to Uberflip or add Uberflip streams to an existing tab. If the user has multiple social networks and streams on their dashboard, users need to give the Hub its own tab in order to keep everything organized. Users are also able to add multiple Hubs into HootSuite and that can be done in two separate ways: 1) If the user has two or more Hubs under the same username, they can toggle those Hubs in one stream and choose different Hubs from a drop-down menu. 2) If the user has two or more Hubs under different usernames, they’ll continue to live as separate streams.
Promoting content is something every marketer has to do in order to be successful. This new integration will allow users to share content from their respective Hub stream with a small ‘sharing’ icon appearing on the top right hand corner of the screen. The title and URL will automatically appear in the message box of your dashboard, allowing users to edit the message to be more descriptive or leave as is. From there, users can select which social network(s) they want to share this content with. Also, users may want to select different messages for different networks, in which case they would want to select and publish to different networks one at a time.
