New Acer Veriton Z2660G AiO Series; Compact, Comfortable, Cost-Efficient

(PRWEB) April 11, 2014 -- Acer America today announced the availability of its Veriton Z2660G all-in-one (AiO) commercial desktops with a 20-inch class LED-backlit LCD touch screen for both businesses and institutional customers in the U.S. Adjustable and modular, the compact AiO desktops deliver comfortable ergonomics in a low-maintenance platform.
The Veriton Z2660G Series AiOs are ideal for professionals wanting to save space, leverage Windows 8’s touch capabilities or would like an attractive and user-friendly computing solution for executive offices, bullpens, libraries, kiosks, reception areas and more. Available in a modular, screw-less chassis to simplify upgrades, they suit a wide range of commercial environments.
The Veriton Z2660G’s 19.5-inch LED-backlit LCD delivers vivid, clear visuals thanks to a 1600 x 900 maximum HD+ resolution with a 16:9 aspect ratio. The ergonomic frame tilts from 8 to 60 degrees for finding the optimum viewing angle. Removable feet and VESA wall mount support enable the display to be hung on a wall to maximize desk space. Its 2.0MP Full HD webcam can rotate up to 180 degrees to accommodate multiple participants during videoconferences, while two built-in speakers with high-definition audio provide clear sound.

A 4th generation Intel® Core™ i3 processor 4130T (3M Cache, 2.9GHz), up to 16GB dual-channel DDR3 memory and integrated Intel® HD graphics 4400 provide plenty of power for Office productivity applications and videoconferences. A 500GB(2) (7200RPM) hard drive is large enough to archive a wide range of files and media. Ample connectivity is afforded with two USB 2.0 ports as well as VGA and DisplayPort™ for enabling multi-monitor setups.
Built-In Acer Touch Tools
Acer’s intuitive Touch Tools help users prepare for and participate in presentations and meetings. This practical suite allows individuals to leverage MemoryBinder to draw on top of photos, ScreenGrasp to capture images with the Acer pen, Scrapboard to collect images and ideas, and AccuFinger to select tiny items on-screen using fingers rather than a pen.
Excellent Management and Security
The Acer Veriton Z2660G Series comes with practical tools for managing system images and protecting intellectual assets. Acer ProShield provides critical security and management features within a unified user interface. This single-client console application encompasses an encrypted hidden drive for archiving confidential files, a file shredder for purging sensitive materials from the system, and a BIOS import and export tool for streamlining system management.
Acer’s One Button Recovery (OBR) function makes backing up and/or restoring a PC simple. It restores the Veriton’s original factory default settings if the PC’s operating system files are lost or damaged. In addition, the Veriton ControlCenter streamlines routine IT tasks and includes:
• Acer eSettings Management, an intuitive interface for configuration and control of the system
• Acer PowerSaver for configuring power levels according to computer usage
• Acer SmartBoot for automatically loading frequently used programs in the system tray at start up
