Austin Mahone Tickets: Ticket Down Slashes Ticket Prices on Austin Mahone 2014 Tickets
(PRWEB) April 11, 2014 -- In the age of increased use of technology, it is becoming easier for everyday people to become the next big star. We have seen it happen in the past with the likes of Karmin and it has happened again with 18-year-old Austin Mahone. The native of San Antonio, Texas has been active in the music business since 2011. The young musician has experience traveling with one of the biggest acts in country music, Taylor Swift and in July, will make five stops on his own tour of the west coast United States.
He got his start by covering songs on his YouTube channel and began to gather quite a following. In the fall of 2011, he covered Justin Bieber’s song “Mistletoe,” which helped get the attention of people at Chase/Universal Republic Records. In 2012, he was one of the opening performers on Swift’s “Red Tour,” and has been named one of the top Artists to Watch by MTV. He was also named the “Teen Ambassador” for the Trukfit fashion clothing line owned by Lil Wayne. He has also appeared in numerous advertisements for McDonald’s, Hot Nuts and most recently, Aquafina’s Flavor Splash.
When it comes to his own music, Mahone is planning on releasing his debut album in May, a few months before embarking on this short tour. In June 2013, he had an album released specifically for Japanese followers and had the album peak at the No. 12 position on the charts. Since signing with Chase/Universal Republic Records, Mahone has released eight singles and while none have become full blown successful hits, they have all helped him gain new followers. Among the singles he has released include “Say You’re Just a Friend,” featuring Flo Rida and “Mmm Yeah,” featuring Pitbull.
The venues that Mahone will play at in July include the Freeman Coliseum in San Antonio, Texas, Reliant Arena, in Houston, Texas, Verizon Theatre at Grand Prairie in Grand Prairie, Texas, Comerica Theatre in Phoenix, Ariz., and the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles, Calif. The shows will begin on July 25th and run through July 30th. Mahone will be joined on the brief tour on some dates by The Vamps, Fifth Harmony, Shawn Mendes and Alex Angelo.
