Hartzell Air Movement is pleased to announce that they just received an order from the second largest wastewater treatment facility in Colorado for two Series 41 fiberglass backward curved airfoil centrifugal fans. The 66-inch fans include efficient 66% width Hartzell FA molded wheels. These fans will pull odorous air and hazardous gases such as carbon dioxide and methane gas out of the sludge tank and move the air into a bio filter system, which contains enzymes that clean the air before it is dispersed safely into the atmosphere.
Director of Sales at Hartzell Air Movement, Chuck Abramson explains, “The application for these fans in this order is a perfect example of the durability of our fans. Hartzell fiberglass fans can easily handle dangerous gases and toxic fumes and still last over twenty years.”
Hartzell Air Movement just increased the sizes available for their Series 41 fiberglass centrifugal fans up to 73 inches. The airflow capabilities go up to 120,000 cubic feet per minute and the maximum static pressure is up to 30 inches.
