Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) April 15, 2014

Shadow-Soft today announced it will be a sponsor at Red Hat Summit 2014 (http://www.redhat.com/summit), the industry’s premier Open Source technology event. The conference will be held April 14-17, 2014, at Moscone Center South in San Francisco.

Shadow-Soft, an expert Open Source system integrator based in Atlanta, was formed to help enterprise and public sector customers realize the benefits of Open Source and was recently named the 2014 North American Red Hat Commercial and Public Sector partner of the year. They will showcase their newly launched Amazon Web Services (AWS) Test Drive Labs in the Partner Pavilion at booth 112. The purpose of the program is to provide customers with the ability to quickly and easily explore the benefits of using Red Hat software with the ease of AWS server infrastructure.

In addition to their AWS Test Drive promotion at Summit, Shadow-Soft will also host a Customer Appreciation Dinner to celebrate winning the 2014 Partner of the Year awards at locals’ favorite Stone’s Throw.

“It’s been a big year for us already and like Red Hat, Shadow-Soft’s competencies lie in giving commercial and public sector customers a simple pathway to build and deploy mission critical applications on affordable, secure, and highly scalable infrastructures,” said Erik Wallin, Shadow-Soft’s co-founder and chief operating officer. “Open source offers a wealth of possibilities especially as companies move to a hybrid cloud model, and Red Hat is one of the best at making those possibilities a reality, so we’re excited to be a sponsor of the Red Hat Summit for the fifth consecutive year.”

“Open Source is at the heart of technology initiatives ranging from cloud computing and big data to social media and mobile,” said Jackie Yeaney, executive vice president, Strategy and Marketing, Red Hat. “As a result, Red Hat Summit has become a must-attend event to learn about emerging trends in enterprise Open Source, and as our 10th annual conference, we’re planning for our largest and most exciting event to date. We’re thrilled to have Shadow-Soft’s support for Red Hat Summit 2014, and look forward to connecting customers and our broad partner ecosystem to discuss how to make open hybrid cloud a reality in their organizations.”

With thousands of attendees and 150+ business and technical sessions, Red Hat Summit is focused on generating developer, partner, and customer success with Red Hat solutions across cloud, virtualization, platform, storage, middleware, and systems management. Red Hat Summit 2014 offers opportunities for attendees to gain skills to get the most from their current deployments, explore new offerings, and learn about emerging technology innovations and trends. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with Red Hat product teams, hear from expert users at leading customer and partner companies, get hands-on training, and learn best practices and strategies for innovation and success.
