The moisturising hair oil was developed by SKR using oil from the argan tree which is endemic to Morocco. The company bring the oil to market this month in line with the 2014 Spring/Summer season of hairstyles which feature from slick and smooth to choppy and textured bobs.

This season's trends call for a haircare routine that restores vitality and conditioning and SKR have developed and launched the Argan Oil product into the market with properties that include improvement of elasticity of the hair, markedly reducing breakage. Stephen Ross, SKR's Director said:

'SKR were keen to develop a haircare product that would compliment our range of hair extensions and offer the consumer a superior conditioning treatment that would demonstrate significant improvement in the look and feel of their hair and I know that we have succeeded with our Argan Oil product.'

Based in the UK, SKR Hair manufacture and retail REMY hair extensions worldwide. The company was founded by industry professionals with a finger of the pulse of hair and fashion trends. Argan Oil heralds the new SKR product range of haircare, with more launches to follow throughout the year.

The oil is harvested using a lengthy labour intensive process, taking 20 – 30 hours to produce one litre of liquid, earning it's name of 'liquid gold'. Much in demand for it's high Vitamin E and antioxidants, argan oil has restorative properties that improve the health and elasticity of the hair adding shine and lustre. The Berber tribes of Morocco have perfected the traditional extraction and filtering of oil through the centuries. Demand for argan oil and preservation of the traditional extraction technique has resulted in paid employment for more than one thousand women of the Berber Women Cooperative Movement.

SKR Hair have made the oil available for purchase on their website http://www.skrhair.com
