Kevin McTarsney Resigns as President & CEO at Conscious Security, Inc.
Stafford, VA (PRWEB) April 14, 2014 -- Conscious Security Inc. announced today that Kevin McTarsney has officially resigned from his ten-year post as President & CEO, effective April 11th, 2014.
In his statement, Mr. McTarsney explained that it was the right time to pursue other opportunities that were outside of Conscious Security’s core business, and though complementary, would not afford Conscious Security the ability to maintain its agnostic approach to client solutions in the future. “As a founder, leaving comes with mixed emotions. Conscious Security is a great company that has a phenomenal reputation with its employees, partners, and clients. The timing is right, however, to pursue something new, knowing that the company is well-positioned for future success” stated Mr. McTarsney.
Joseph Seitzer, Chief Operating Officer and co-founder, will take over as Chief Executive upon Mr. McTarsney’s departure. “Kevin and I have talked about future opportunities, and while Kevin’s departure will be felt within the company, we’ve agreed that the timing is right given the strength of Conscious Security’s current contracts and the shift of our most significant client base towards small business utilization. This is win-win as I know we will be working together in the future,” said Mr. Seitzer.
“I consider founding Conscious Security and its growth over the past ten years a significant accomplishment. Strong relationships are at the core of that successful progression and I will always be grateful for what I have personally experienced along the way,” added Mr. McTarsney.
