In 2005, the Colquitt/Miller Arts Council was looking for a fundraiser to support the painting of the 6th installment of the Millennium Mural Project, "Nuthin' But A Will." The country/comedy variety show they created was an instant hit, and before long "May-Haw" had moved beyond a fundraiser and become a staple of the Cotton Hall production season.
The show is presented in April of each year to coincide with the National Mayhaw Festival, which provides visitors with a full weekend worth of entertainment and shopping opportunities. The newest installment of "May-Haw" opens this Friday, April 18th with new jokes and new music in the familiar format the makes the show so beloved to its fans.
Performances run April 18, 19, 25, and 26th, with showings at 7:30 on Fridays and 2:00 and 5:30 on Saturdays. Tickets are just $15 per person, and can be purchased at http://www.swampgravy.com or by calling 229-758-5450.
