The SEN Design Group, an independent organization of kitchen and bath professionals, recently conducted a professional survey to gain insight on the current state of the industry.

More than 40 kitchen and bath professionals in SEN participated in the national survey, which asked questions on the state of the economy as well as their current marketing expenditures. The survey contained more than 20 questions and the most statistical evidence is featured below:

  •      81.5 percent of respondents use referrals as the number one way to gain customers
  • The majority of respondents spend the most marketing dollars on print advertising
  • 85.0 percent feel confident about the economy two months into 2014 and 37.5 Percent of those respondents expect a 6-10 percent increase
  • 65 percent of the participants utilize and are active on Social Media platforms

With positive feelings about the state of the economy, the SEN Design Group helps to provide insight to other kitchen and bath professionals.

"At SEN, we continue to be thought leaders on business practices in the kitchen and bath industry and what better to gain current and valuable insight than from our members who are actively managing their businesses,” commented Leah Peterson, vice president, sales and marketing, of SEN.
