Pittsburgh Real Estate Investors Move to New Location
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) April 15, 2014 -- The Pittsburgh Real Estate Investors Association is moving to a new location and expanding its educational mission. The Pittsburgh real estate market is growing and the club is growing right along with it.
The Pittsburgh Real Estate Investors Association will be meeting April 15, 2014 at a new location. Meetings are held every third Tuesday of the month at 7:00 PM. The new meeting space is the Pittsburgh Masonic Center located at 3579 Masonic Way, Pittsburgh, PA 15237. The Ross township location is a slight departure for the hotel in the town of Greentree which the club has used as a home base for the past decade. Moving the meetings to the North Hills of Pittsburgh mirrors the population growth in Allegheny County. The new facility also has the advantage of being located near a major traffic artery on Route 279 North at the Perrysville exit.
For those who are unfamiliar with Western Pennsylvania’s fastest growing real estate investor’s club, the Pittsburgh REIA is a diverse group of investors who come together to promote learning and ethics within the Pittsburgh real estate investing market. According to REIA President Josh Caldwell, “If you had to boil the club down the core ideals of the club it would be something along the lines of; a club where people come to learn how to make money, and use real estate as a vehicle towards financial freedom.”
This coming meeting will feature two important subjects that should interest entrepreneurs who want to make a living with real estate. The first class is being taught by a Pittsburgh realtor, and will cover how to buy bank owned or REO properties. The second class is being taught by an internet marketing guru turned real estate investors. That second class is focused on how to use Facebook as a method to buy and sell real estate.
Membership in the club is open to anyone regardless of experience or location. The majority of members reside in the Pittsburgh Metro area or invest in Western PA. There are non-local club members scattered across America. The Pittsburgh REIA is becoming a national REIA club.
First time guests welcome. Membership in the club is only $109 annually. Members are entitled to attend any of the club’s sub-group meetings. These sub-group meetings are an extension of the clubs main meeting with an emphasis on specific investing topics like wholesaling, commercial real estate, lease options, flipping, land-lording techniques for increased profit and many more. Members are also entitled to enjoy a host of discount program that include local vendor-member discounts as well as discounts at national retailers like Home Depot, Lowes, Sears Commercial, Sherwin Williams, and more than 25 others. To download a membership application, just follow this membership link. Out of town investors and people who are new to real estate are encouraged to sign up for the clubs online educational newsletter. The newsletter is full of exciting and informative content delivered via email. There is no charge for the newsletter. To receive the newsletter, just click the newsletter link and sign in.
Keep an eye out for the club’s future events. A one day seminar on how to use a self-directed IRA to invest tax free is scheduled for May 31st. Tickets are available by emailing PittsburghREIA(at)aol(dot)com. Also nationally known real estate guru Ron Legrand is coming to Pittsburgh on June 14th. Tickets for the Ron LeGrand event are not yet on sale. Lastly a one day event with Kathy Kennebrook is scheduled for August. Kathy is a subject matter expert in the field of direct mail marketing and her techniques span most business owners marketing needs.
