The Toward Route Zero College Sustainability Tour will be presented at six Bay Area Universities from April 18 through April 25. The first launch of the Toward Route Zero College Tour will take place in conjunction with several campus Earth Week festivities. The events are being presented in conjunction with College Sustainability Organizations and Departments on each campus. Toward Route Zero is curating a live event that will bring EV, EV Charging, Cycle and Solar sustainability innovations to College campuses creating relevant awareness, excitement and inspiration.
The six-day experiential College Tour will feature some of the latest in sustainable Blue Tech innovations such as an Electric Car, an Electric Urban Commuter, Electric Bicycles, Segway Personal Transporters (PTs), an Electric Unicycle, Electric Skateboards, Bicycles, an EV Charging Station, a Solar Panel Display and Solar Backpacks.
The Tour is being Presented by WELLS FARGO. Innovation Sponsors include NISSAN LEAF, as the exclusive Tour EV Partner, MAHINDRA GENZE, as the exclusive Tour Electric Urban Commuter, SEGWAY INC., A2B, SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC, STROMER, BMC, BH/EASY MOTION, BIRUNI BIKES, FELT BICYCLES, YUBA BIKES, VELOMINI, ELV MOTORS, XTRACYCLE, SOLOWHEEL, FIIK ELECTRIC SKATEBOARDS, NORCO BICYCLES, BIRKSUN and LUMOS.
The Tour will open at Stanford University on April 18th, the University of California Davis on April 21st, Santa Clara University on April 22nd, Sonoma State University on April 23rd, San Francisco State University on April 24th, and the University of California Merced on April 25th. The events will be open from 10 AM to 3 PM. 10 AM to 2 PM at Stanford University. There is no admission fee to attend.
