Step Up Celebrates Mentorship at Third Annual Power Hour
New York, NY (PRWEB) April 16, 2014 -- Step Up will gather some of New York’s sharpest business minds at the nonprofit’s third annual Power Hour on Thursday, April 24, at 6:30 p.m. at the Hearst Tower in partnership with Marie Claire. The event will celebrate mentorship, providing guests with coveted access to inspiring ‘power mentors’ for the evening, while raising funds for Step Up’s programs for teen girls from under-resourced communities.
The event will also fête mentorship champion and Gilt Chief Executive Officer, Michelle Peluso. Marie Claire Editor-in-Chief Anne Fulenwider will offer welcome remarks.
“Power Hour connects impressive and inspiring industry-leaders who are committed to impacting our community philanthropically,” Step Up CEO Jenni Luke said. “By sharing their time and talent at Power Hour, these mentors not only impact our guests, but also the Step Up teen girls who rely on our mentorship programs during their high school years.”
Joining Peluso and Luke in support of the event will be host committee members Kelly Rutherford, Amy Brenneman, Lisa Graham and Anna Schilling, and the evening’s Power Mentors -- leaders, experts and top minds in their fields.
