Dropzone.com Unveil Comprehensive Indoor Skydiving Listings
Cape Town, Western Cape (PRWEB) April 15, 2014 -- Skydivers and thrill seekers around the world are now able to quickly and easily locate and review wind tunnels in their area, thanks to Dropzone.com's new wind tunnel database. The comprehensive list contains details about indoor skydiving venues spanning 12 countries. Mapped GPS co-ordinates allow users to visually locate tunnels near them, while the review system enables the sharing of valuable information pertaining to the experiences had at a specific wind tunnel. Users will be able to view detailed information for each of these indoor skydiving venues, including pricing, technical information and contact details.
The wind tunnel list was based on the extremely successful dropzone database model, which Dropzone.com developed more than a decade ago. The dropzone database now has over 1200 dropzones listed, with nearly 7000 user reviews, making it the single most useful source for choosing your next skydiving location. Most of the dropzones listed are maintained by the DZ owners or staff themselves, ensuring that they are regularly updated with the latest pricing structures and information.
Indoor skydiving has become an essential element for many skydivers, seen now as almost a mandatory part of training for competitive flyers. Over recent years, the sport has seen consistent growth with tunnels also being established in smaller countries. Children younger than 10 years of age are able to compete on a level that a decade ago would have been unprecedented. The activity of indoor skydiving is not only for dedicated skydivers though, and because the activity is so safe - it is available to almost everyone. It is an excellent way to let people experience similar sensations to that which skydivers feel in freefall, while at the same time being in a more comfortable environment.
"We've had excellent success over the years with our dropzone listings and wanted to bring the same experience to indoor skydivers. We are confident that our new wind tunnel listings will serve as an extremely useful tool for both experienced 'tunnel rats' and those looking for information on where to do their first indoor skydive," said Dropzone.com administrator, Bryn De Kocks.
