St. Edith School of Detroit Earns Grand Championship at SAE International’s 3rd Annual AWIM International Motorized Toy Car Competition
Warrendale, PA (PRWEB) April 15, 2014 -- SAE International announces that St. Edith School (Archdiocese of Detroit) Team 6 was the Grand Champion of the 3rd Annual A World In Motion® (AWIM) International Motorized Toy Car Competition, which was held Tuesday, April 8. During the SAE 2014 World Congress.
The Motorized Toy Challenge, which was hosted by SAE International and sponsored by Honeywell, was created as a friendly competition where students (in Engineering Design Teams of three or four) competed in a variety of engineering design competitions that demonstrated the classroom-based AWIM experience they engaged in for the weeks leading up to the competition.
