Centrifuge - Expands their Big Data Discovery Integration Footprint
McLean Virginia (PRWEB) April 16, 2014 -- Centrifuge Systems today announced the general availability of four new data connectors that further expands its already extensive data integration capability to provide a more comprehensive data perspective within its link analysis software.
“Without the ability to connect disparate data – the potential for meaningful insight and actionable business decisions is limited,” says Stan Dushko, Chief Product Officer at Centrifuge Systems. “It’s like driving your car with a blindfold on. We all take the same route to the office every day, but wouldn’t it be nice to know that today there was an accident and we had the option to consider an alternate path.”
The new Centrifuge connectors will include real-time data access to:
• Apache Hadoop with Cloudera Impala
Impala is a parallel processing SQL query engine that runs natively in Apache Hadoop. With Impala, you can query data, whether stored in HDFS or Apache HBase – including SELECT, JOIN, and aggregate functions.
• LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) details
LDAP is an open, industry standard for accessing and maintaining distributed directory information services over a network. It allows the sharing of information about users, systems, networks, services, and applications throughout the network.
• JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) file structures
JSON is a growing text-based data-interchange format standard that is easy for people to read and write and machines to parse and generate.
• ANX (Analyst Notebook Exchange) file structure
ANX files are a XML-like files used with IBM's i2 Analyst Notebook that contain chart definitions and chart contents.
With the availability of new Centrifuge connectors an organization will now have added data points to help them make better decisions from a much broader perspectives.
