HNTB Names Todd Rothermel Northeast U.S. Technology Practice Leader
New York, NY (PRWEB) April 15, 2014 -- HNTB Corporation, a national infrastructure solutions firm celebrating 100 years of service, has named Todd Rothermel technology practice leader for its Northeast Division. Rothermel is a vice president based in the firm’s Parsippany, N.J., office. In his new role, he will apply his technical focus in enterprise asset management, geospatial and mobile solutions to program management and project oversight for technology services clients.
“Todd’s extensive experience in developing and implementing successful technology solutions for highway, rail and transit system owners is highly valued,” said Michael Sweeney, PE, chairman of professional services for HNTB. “At a time of shrinking revenues, federal mandates and natural disasters, Todd is helping our clients implement enterprise-wide technology solutions to enhance operations and improve communications with customers.”
An experienced program manager, Rothermel is currently advising the New Jersey Turnpike Authority with an enterprise-wide traffic management and control system to support its long-term strategic plan.
Rothermel joined HNTB is 2009. His prior professional experience includes work with Bentley Systems, Sedona Geoservices Inc., General Electric and Piper Aircraft.
Rothermel holds a Bachelor of Science, aeronautical engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Fla.
