The National Trial Lawyers: Top 40 under 40 is a professional organization composed of the top trial attorneys in each state who are under the age of 40. Membership into the “Top 40” is by invitation only and is extended to those trial lawyers who practice in the fields of criminal defense, and/or civil plaintiff law.

Attorney Tony Kalka practices personal injury law in Atlanta at Kalka & Baer, LLC. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in business and marketing from Clemson University. He went on to earn is Juris Doctorate from Mercer University – Walter F. George School of Law in 2002.
His early legal career began when he went to work for a large insurance defense firm as their defense attorney. This experience gave him valuable insight into the insurance industry and how they handle insurance claims from their vantage point. Upon graduating law school, Attorney Kalka accepted a position at one of the largest insurance defense law firms in the southeast as an insurance company lawyer. Preparing defenses for insurance providers in personal injury claims further expanded his breadth of knowledge as to what insurance companies look for when settling claims.
After spending nearly half a decade working for insurance companies, Attorney Kalka decided that he would rather shift his focus on helping injury victims and their families, thereby pursuing his true passion.
Attorney Kalka has earned recognition in Georgia Trend’s Legal Elite in 2009 , 2012 and 2013. He was selected for inclusion in Georgia’s Super Lawyers® Rising Stars℠ list in 2006, and each year from 2009 to 2013. He was selected as GA SUPER LAWYERS in 2014.
