Verndale Wins Two Silver Awards at the 12th Annual Horizon Interactive Awards Competition
Boston, MA (PRWEB) April 16, 2014 -- Verndale is honored to be a 2013 recipient of two Horizon Interactive Awards, a leading international interactive media awards competition which highlights the years “best of the best” in interactive media production.
Verndale was recognized for their excellence with two Silver awards this year. The first was in the Responsive/Mobile Design category for work with Florida Family Insurance, a leading insurance company specializing in homeowner, condominium, rental and flood insurance throughout the state of Florida. The redesign and implementation project has transformed the engagement between Florida Family and its customers providing a fluid digital experience across all devices. Verndale implemented Sitecore CXM, which powers the mobile dedicated site providing Florida Family with ultimate control over sharing content in a refined and calculated manner. Additionally, Sitecores powerful Digital Marketing System was configured to personalize content based on user behavior and key values like top performing pages and services.
The second award falls under the E-Commerce/Shopping category for work with Rifton, an international manufacturer of medical equipment for people with mobility challenges. Verndale worked with Rifton to design a new responsive experience that is powered by Sitecore CXM platform which easily integrates with their legacy back-end CRM and ERP systems. This allows Rifton to provide a more personalized user experience which includes the simplification of an extremely complex product purchase. Verndale and the Rifton team worked to co-develop a heavily customized version of Sitecore’s native eCommerce functionality to support the buying experience.

The 12th annual, international competition saw over 1,600 entries from over 24 countries around world and was judged by an international panel of judges, consisting of industry professionals with diverse backgrounds, as well as an end user panel that evaluated categories ranging from online advertising to mobile applications.
