On Sunday, April 13th, RJ Young and Habitat for Humanity of Greater Nashville presented Youlonda Smith and daughter Ryan Smith with the keys to their new home during a dedication ceremony in the Park Preserve subdivision. RJ Young and Habitat for Humanity executives and employees were on hand to present Youlonda the mortgage certificate and keys to her new home.

“Part of our mission at RJ Young is to invest in our communities, and what better way to do that than to help a young family build their future in their own home,” said Chip Crunk, President and CEO of RJ Young. “I am incredibly proud of our employees for lending their time and skills to this worthy cause.”

“The future holds boundless opportunities for me and my family,” said Smith. Smith is a Nashville native, Tennessee State University alumnus and currently works as a Probation and Parole Officer for the Tennessee Department of Corrections.

Over 75 RJ Young employees, along with family and friends, volunteered to build the Smith’s home. The Park Preserve home marks the 7th Habitat home that RJ Young has sponsored to date.
