“Willis is a bonafide destroyer on his board,” says Rev’d® team manager Matt O’Connor. “What he’s doing within the backyard pool scene is becoming legendary."

Newport Beach, California (PRWEB) April 16, 2014

Rev’d Provision Co. announced today that skateboarder Willis Kimbel has joined its skate family. Kimbel has lived all over the world, including Baltimore, Bermuda, Key West, Italy and San Diego but now claims Portland Oregon and the open road as his current places of residence. Kimbel gained recognition skating the renowned Burnside in Portland, thus launching his career. Kimbel was the first skateboarder to join the Rev’d® family. “I’m stoked to be a part of such a great company and I always take Rev’d® bars on the road with me,” says Kimbel. “I love what they are doing within skateboarding. The skaters they have brought together are all amazing and we’ve all become friends. It’s truly a family atmosphere.”

Willis is the son of 70’s skateboarder and surfer Curt Kimbel. Having grown up living in so many different places Willis is most comfortable on the road. “I drive a truck all over the states, skating and living spontaneously,” says Kimbel. After joining the crew at Creature skateboards he hasn’t looked back. In addition to Creature, Kimbel skates for a number of elite brands including Independent Trucks and OJ, as well as flow for Nike SB.

“Willis is a bonafide destroyer on his board,” says Rev’d® team manager Matt O’Connor. “What he’s doing within the backyard pool scene is becoming legendary. Being involved with such a heavy hitting team as Creature, Kimbel is quickly being recognized as one of the best transition skaters of our time,” says O’Connor. “By having Willis join the Rev’d® family we’re showing our support for all aspects of skateboarding.”

Rev’d® supports athletes that drive progression and are known to be passionate and hard-working. “Willis is at the forefront of skateboarding today. The future is very bright for him and I think you’ll see him turning pro sooner rather than later, says O’Connor. “Kimbel embodies the true core values of Rev’d® by living a life full of passion for skate, travel and adventure.”
