I designed this camp to address a growing void in the lacrosse community. - Jeff Tambroni, Penn State Men’s Lacrosse Head Coach

Fairfield, CT (PRWEB) April 16, 2014

GameBreaker Lacrosse, the national leader in lacrosse education with over 75,000 camp graduates, has announced the first annual Lacrosse and Leadership Camp. The camp will be directed by Jeff Tambroni, Penn State Men’s Head Lacrosse Coach and Team USA Assistant Coach. The camp will be held on the 110-acre lakeside campus of the Berkshire Sports Academy in East Otis, MA.

The curriculum of the camp will combine top-notch individual lacrosse instruction with activities and lessons designed to give campers the opportunity to become great teammates and more effective leaders. “At camp, we will help campers learn about being part of something – a team or a cause – bigger than themselves,” said Tambroni. “At the end of camp, we want all campers to not only be better lacrosse players, but also recognize how as leaders they can be more valuable to their team, their school, and their community.”

Other noteworthy leaders joining the staff are Bobby Wynne, Assistant Headmaster and Head Lacrosse Coach at The Salisbury School, and Col. Art Athens, USMCR (Ret.) who will serve as a guest motivational speaker.

The Berkshire Sports Academy offers the best of both worlds. This scenic locale offers a top-notch training environment with several athletic fields, both grass and turf with lights, along with a traditional camp setting that comes complete with cabins, a dining hall, a lake, and a camp fire area.

Lacrosse is the fastest growing team sport in the country with over 300,000 youth players and 225,000 high school players, according to US Lacrosse. GameBreaker Lacrosse has been offering camps since 2001 with over 75,000 camp graduates in that time.
