ForeverGreen Worldwide Corporation (OTCBB: FVRG), a leading provider of nutritional foods and other healthy products, announced today that the company currently services customers in 166 countries. Among the countries recently entered are Turkey and Israel. Additionally, new member and leadership growth are coming from Japan, establishing the country as one of ForeverGreen’s fastest growing.

Turkey

Turkey has 700,000 people involved in the direct selling industry. It has a population of 75.6 million, ranking it 3rd in Europe and 17th in the world. Turkey boasts eight cities with a population of more than one million people compared to nine in the United States. In 2011, Turkey’s sales for direct marketing companies passed $1 Billion for the first time, a number expected to continue to escalate. There are also three million Turkish citizens living elsewhere in the EU, opening many vast markets for the company. Direct selling grew 13% during 2012 in Turkey.

Israel

Israel population is 8.1 million. Israel’s economy ranks 17th among the most economically developed nations, according to IMD’s World Competitiveness Yearbook rank. There are approximately 30,000 individuals involved in direct selling, yet it appears to be one of the most accepting and fastest growing markets in the region. While currently the 57th largest direct selling market in the world, its economy and culture suggest it will rise quickly in these rankings. According to marketresearch.com, “direct selling is highly popular amongst many consumers in Israel.” Israel ranks 24th in the direct selling industry in revenue per distributor, just ahead of the United States and is a largely untapped market for direct selling companies.

Japan

While not a new market to ForeverGreen, Japan’s sales where never a large part of ForeverGreen’s overall revenue. However, recently sales in Japan have jumped substantially. A new product line and new initiatives have helped fuel this success, with Japan’s growth outpacing many other countries. Japan is the 3rd largest economy in the world and the second largest direct selling market, with sales of $22.7 Billion annually or about 14% of the $166 Billion direct selling market. The company has hired several Japanese speaking customer service personnel as a result of this growth, which should continue to accelerate.

“We are excited to enter each new country and we continue to expand our markets and distribution and look forward to these countries helping our top and bottom line. We suggested that our goal was to sell our products in nearly every country on the planet and we are now closer to realizing this goal. The additional markets give us room to continue our growth trends for the next several years,” commented Brenda Huang, President.
