The City of Bloomfield Hills announced today that it has joined the Michigan Inter-governmental Trade Network, a BidNet e-procurement system that provides vendors with an easier and more economical way to access and compete for local government bids.
The Michigan Inter-governmental Trade Network (MITN) connects 1,477 departments from 128 local government agencies and provides a bid notification system that gives vendors instant access to bids, RFPs, quotes and amendments online. The City of Bloomfield Hills joined the MITN Purchasing Group on April 16 providing its vendors with convenient access to bid information for its solicitation postings as well as those from 127 additional participating agencies on the system.
