Isha Foundation Announces a Three-Day “Inner Engineering” Workshop to Revolutionize Pursuit of Work-Life Balance in an Always-On-Duty, Stressed-Out World
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) April 17, 2014 -- Massachusetts Institute of Technology and other major research institutions are studying it. Fortune 500 companies are offering it as an employee benefit, and in February, it made the cover of TIME magazine. The “it” factor that is rapidly becoming mainstream is meditation. But, the modern application of this ancient tool is making believers and practitioners out of western skeptics.
This week, Isha Foundation USA announced it will host a large-scale “Inner Engineering” weekend workshop in Atlanta at the Georgia International Convention Center, May 16-18. Inner Engineering is a fusion of mental, physical and psychological wellness methods that combine to offer participants concrete tools and practices they can easily incorporate into their daily lives to achieve significant health improvements.
Just as yoga as physical exercise has become mainstream, Inner Engineering elevates the understanding of Yoga (with a capital “Y”), as a holistic health practice that incorporates meditation and a number of other techniques. It provides a mechanism for people to connect the physical to mental and emotional wellbeing.
The specific approach of Inner Engineering is rapidly being introduced by major Atlanta corporations like Equifax and Kimberly Clarke as a part of employee benefits packages because it provides measurable improvements in mental focus, concentration and productivity. A national survey of 536 participants in weekend Inner Engineering workshops revealed positive physical side effects as well. Those surveyed reported significant improvements in pain management, insomnia, immune system resistance to cold, flu and allergies, depression, and even diabetes. [See attached fact sheet.]
This revolutionary approach to wellness was developed by Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, a world renowned yogi, humanitarian and spiritual leader who has shared his groundbreaking work as a panelist at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, before the House of Lords in the British Parliament and numerous universities around the globe. His work is rooted as strongly in pragmatic matters as it is in the deep inner exploration for inner wisdom. His scientific and logical methods appeal broadly to westerners from all walks of life. The Inner Engineering workshops available in live events such the one at the GICC next month and the online classes routinely help people improve their health and cultivate their human potential.
There are two opportunities to preview the Inner Engineering weekend workshop. On April 30, a one-hour national webinar will provide an introduction to the basic principles of Inner Engineering. On May 1, Amazon bestselling author and Atlanta Real Estate leader Cheryl Simone will provide insights from her book “Midnights with the Mystic” and share how Inner Engineering helped her work through her challenges and achieve personal excellence. The evening will also include guided meditation.
