‘Midfest Grown In Scotland’ is pleased to confirm Dundee Indie Rockers The View as headliners alongside legendary Scottish rock band Big Country at new Edinburgh Music Festival. Over 8000 music fans are expected to attend over the weekend of Saturday 6th & Sunday 7th September 2014 at Dalkeith Country Park.

The View & Big Country Confirmed As Headliners At Dalkeith Music Festival

Over 8000 music fans expected to attend Dalkeith Country Park in September to watch The View & Big Country.

Driven by a real desire to bring an unforgettable weekend of top quality, international renowned musical acts to the Midlothian town of Dalkeith inspired local residents to begin work on doing what many thought impossible. However, with less than 5 months remaining until the launch date all of the pieces are finally falling into place as The View and Big Country sign-on to headline the very first “Midfest Grown In Scotland” Music Festival.

The extravaganza will commence on Saturday 06th September 2014 and will also feature main stage performances from Pilot, Bombskare, The Merrylees, Callum Beattie & The Flavours. The musical weekend will conclude on Sunday 07th September 2014 where the most promising up and coming local bands will be given the opportunity to rock out the 8000-plus music fans.

Dalkeith Country Park has been selected to host this year’s maiden event and will have ample space to accommodate the main stage, huge crowd, fun fair & food and drink venues. Tickets are now on sale via Tickets Scotland priced £37.50 for adults & £5.00 for children (12 years and under).
