It is our incredible team that makes Intelex such a positive and fun place to work.
Toronto (PRWEB) April 17, 2014
Intelex was recognized as one of Canada’s top workplaces for the third consecutive year on the annual list of Canada's 50 Best Workplaces and received a special award as one of Canada’s Best Workplaces for Women at an exclusive ceremony, held Wednesday. Compiled by the Great Place to Work® Institute, this list will appear in a special national report released in today's issue of The Globe and Mail.
The annual list of Best Workplaces in Canada recognizes 100 companies in Canada - 50 medium (50-999 employees) and 50 large and multinational (over 1,000 employees) - for building workplaces that foster trust among employees. The award for Best Workplaces in Canada for Women recognizes the 25 leading companies for women to work at throughout Canada. The application for both awards focused on two criteria: a survey of employees’ ratings of the work environment and an in-depth review of the corporate culture.
This year the Best Workplaces in Canada list received over 300 nominations and over 60,000 employees participated in the 2014 survey. Intelex was one of only 50 medium organizations to be included in the ranking and one of only 25 companies to have made the list of Best Workplaces in Canada for Women. The application process for the awards provides a unique representation of the organization from the employee perspective, and gives an overall portrait of the workplace culture.
“It’s truly rewarding for Intelex to be voted a 'best place to work' by our employees,” says Mark Jaine, Intelex President and CEO. “It is our incredible team that makes Intelex such a positive and fun place to work, and it shows through our innovative products, the success of our customers, and the rapid growth we’ve enjoyed as a company. I’m honoured to be part of this amazing group of people."
In addition to this achievement and recently being named one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies by Deloitte, Intelex has also recently received a variety of other awards and accolades. With five consecutive years on Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500 North America and inclusion in Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50 Canada, Intelex is regularly named one of Canada’s top employers in rankings published in The Globe and Mail, The Toronto Star and PROFIT Magazine.
