Mississippi-born band 3 Doors Down burst into the big time with their first single, "Kryptonite" in 2000. The cut was off of their debut album, The Better Life, now certified six times platinum in the U.S.

Since then, the group has gone on to release a total of five albums, all topping the Billboard charts, along with hit singles "When I'm Gone" and "Here Without You". And now, in addition to staging several acoustic concerts throughout North America this year, the act just released tickets for 18 dates on their upcoming 32-city North American tour.

Opening at Red Robinson Show Theatre in Coquitlam, British Colombia on June 3, 2014, the tour travels to Prince George, British Columbia; Calgary, Alberta; Winnipeg, Manitoba; and St. Paul, Minnesota.

“That’s why we’re proud to offer fans the most comprehensive and continuously updated selection of concert tickets online, with a worry-free guarantee to protect their purchase,” added Ault.

Myers and Jacksonville, Florida; and Atlanta, Georgia.

The wrap is currently set for the Louisville Palace in Louisville, Kentucky on September 11, 2014.

The band’s debut album, The Better Life in 2000, was the 11th-best-selling album of the year and was certified six times platinum in the United States. Their second album, Away from the Sun in 2002, debuted at Number Eight on the Billboard 200 Chart, went multi-platinum in the U.S. like its predecessor, and featured top hits "When I'm Gone" and "Here Without You".

After that, 3 Doors Down embarked on an extensive two-year tour schedule before releasing their third album, Seventeen Days, in 2005. The album debuted at Number One on the Billboard 200 and was certified platinum within its first month of release. Their fourth, the self-titled 3 Doors Down in 2008, also debuted at Number One. Time of My Life in 2011 debuted at Number Three on the Billboard 200 Chart.

In January, Chris Henderson reported to the Phoenix New Times that their new album will be released sometime in 2014. Since the end of 2013, the band has also embarked on an acoustic tour entitled "Songs from the Basement" with dates around the nation.

In addition to solo gigs, the band has shared the stage with artists such as Daughtry, Megadeth, Staind, Nickelback, Alter Bridge, Breaking Benjamin, Theory of a Deadman, Seether, Shinedown, Hinder, Mentors, ZZ Top, and Lynyrd Skynyrd. Since the start of their career, 3 Doors Down have sold over 20 million albums worldwide.

The band got their name from a building where some letters had fallen off its sign. The sign with missing letters read "Doors Down." Since at the time, they consisted of three people, they added the "3" to create "3 Doors Down."
