Announcement: BluesGuitar.com Releases “Blues Bending Exercise over a 12 Bar Chord Progression - Blues Guitar Lesson”
(PRWEB) April 17, 2014 -- “Where looking at blues bending today and this is a little exercise I like to do over a 12 bar blues just to work on precision with bending”, says MacLennan, “what we’re gonna do is practice bending with just a half step in the blues.” Jon demonstrates this easy blues guitar lesson in the key of A as follows; the first chord of the progression is A7 and he bends into a G from F# (F sharp) on the 7th fret of the 2nd string and bend it up one half step. Next is the four chord which is D7 and he bends into C from a B on the 4th fret of the 3rd string. And finally is the Five chord which is an E7 and he bends into an E from D# (D sharp) on the 8th fret of the 3rd string. Jon says, “This is just an exercise to work on string bending and not a full solo.” MacLennan continues this easy blues guitar lesson by demonstrating the exercise over a backing track that follows the 12 Bar Chord Progression that consists of the four bars of the one chord, two bars of the four chord, 2 bars of the one chord, one bar of the five chord, one bar of the four chord and finally 2 bars of the one chord to finish it off. Guitar TAB’s for this blues guitar lesson are available at BluesGuitar.com.
